Real Hope For Haiti

Real Hope For Haiti

A vision was born in the heart of founder Mike Hall in April 1990. During an unforgettable trip to Haiti a seed was planted that would eventually become Hope International, Inc. Watching the good people of Haiti struggle to do God’s work because of very limited resources, Mike was deeply impressed by the real needs.

It was clear that there were resources available in the U.S. that could help. With the help of several friends, Mike began raising money that enabled projects to go forward in Haiti. Buildings were improved, a well was drilled in a village, and equipment was purchased. In addition, children were fed and clothed.

Through the generous monthly giving of sponsors in the U.S. many school children are being helped. Teachers salaries are paid, school supplies are acquired, and people are fed.

Hope is still growing and has a vision to reach Haiti through the children. Partnering with Haitian people, Hope plans to assist existing schools, and start others. Touching the lives of children, changing a nation, affecting the future, that’s our heart as an organization.

Sharing Real Hope continues because of a core of dedicated volunteers who freely and willingly give of their time, talents and energy to help the children of Haiti all for the Glory of God!
