Real Hope For You

Real Hope For You

God created us to live in relationship with Him forever! He loves us and wants us to enjoy Him. That is the only place ultimate satisfaction and significance is found.

Sadly, a holy God, though loving, cannot overlook sin. Sin is simply defined as falling short of God’s standard. Unfortunately, every human that has ever lived, except for One, Jesus, has fallen short! Romans 3:23 Our sin brings a consequence. It separates us from God and kills the relationship He created us to have with Him. That is called spiritual death. If it is not dealt with before we die, it brings eternal death, which is separation from God forever. Romans 6:23

The Good News: there is hope!  God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to earth to rescue us! John 3:16; Romans 5:8 Jesus became a human, while still retaining His full deity, when He was born of the virgin Mary in Bethlehem. As a human, He lived a sinless life, while experiencing the temptations and trials other humans face. He came to die for us to pay for our sin. II Corinthians 5:21 When He went to the cross, He was there by God’s plan. God was making a way for us to be reconciled to Him, to have that eternal relationship restored! This sinless God man, Jesus, took the condemnation for our sin, as if He was guilty. On the cross, He suffered the punishment for our sin and fully satisfied our sentence of eternal death. When He rose again on the third day, as He predicted He would, He conquered death to give us eternal life.

The gracious offer of a restored relationship with God has been made to all. It comes only by faith in Jesus and what He did for us in His death, burial, and resurrection. There is no other way to God, no other way of salvation.

First, we must turn from our own way, which includes our sin, and any attempt to come to God by any means other than Jesus. That’s called repentance.

Second, we must place our full trust in Jesus, believing that He alone can bring God’s full forgiveness of all our past, present, and future sin, free us from God’s judgment, credit us with His righteousness, and give us eternal life! Romans 10:9-10, 13  When this happens, we are eternally restored to a right relationship with God! We instantly and permanently become a part of the Body of Christ, the forever family of God!

You are invited to turn your life over to Jesus Christ right now, right where you are.
Pray a simple, yet deeply sincere prayer of faith, from your heart. Below is a helpful guide:

“Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner and that my sin has separated me from You.
I believe that Jesus died to pay for my sin. I now turn from my own way to trust fully in Jesus.
Please forgive me and make me part of Your family. I want to follow You the rest of my life.
Thank you for your gift of eternal life to me!
Amen!”
